WELL HELLO THERE! It has been a pretty long time since I’ve updated. 4 months to be exact. Haha! :) 

You’re probably wondering; “WHY THE FUCK DID YOU STOP UPDATING, MINDY?” Or not… But if you are actually wondering, I’ll tell you. 

I’ve been... kinda busy? Emphasis on kinda. Life got to me. Nothing huge or extraordinary or anything. I just had to “grow up” a little. Then life got a little overwhelming and I couldn’t find the time and means to actually blog. 

Technically that’s a half lie. The real truth is because I had/have a severe case of writer’s block. Or blogger’s block to be exact because I have actually been writing. Mostly poetry/prose à la Lang Leav/Michael Faudet/Rupi Kaur. Is my writing any good? Probably not so I’m not comparing myself to those three poetry/prose gods. I’ve been trying to build up the confidence to post some writing here but I don’t wanna be too pretentious. 

What else? Uhhhh… I gained weight but that’s not important. I’m just stating an obvious fact. 

My room is a mess. Another obvious fact. 

The month of June wasn’t that great for me but I’m always going to be the person to let bygones be bygones. 

Blog-wise: I’m already 3 Music Mondays behind. (currently listening to vol. 8 on my Spotify as I type.) And my monthly favorites went down the drain a long time ago. RIP. I have a lot of blog posts I would definitely love to write but I just don’t know how to start them. I always end up writing the middle and end of a blog post first. 

The greatest news: My anxiety has lessened!!! Not completely vanished but it isn’t as severe as it was 7 months ago. I’ll probably blog about it in the future. Please don’t hold me for it because you all know I never pull through with the promises I make on my blog. 

Also, I’ve been contemplating about taking this blog public. I mean, it’s already public but I only share about it on Twitter/Snapchat. I’ve been thinking about making it Facebook public. I’m questioning myself why I would torture myself by doing that but also… there are a lot more people on Facebook who might be so bored that they’ll want to read my blog and laugh at me. Hence the huge dilemma. 

Eh. I can’t think of anything else to put here in this update post about my life. I guess that’s it. For now.
