F L O U R I S H. This is my 2016 word. This is going to be my life word. In my January Favorites post, I said that I would talk about what this word means to me. Here is that post.

By reading the definition of the word above, it's pretty self-explanatory. I chose this word as my life mantra because I feel at 23, I haven't really grown yet to my full potential. At 23, I was and still am lost in this world. I'm using this word as an inspiration and reminder that there is still room to grow and that it will never be too late.

I don't know how I went through 23 years of not letting this word rule my life but ever since I did, the choices I've been making have done nothing but be good for me.

There are so many people out there that don't care whether they flourish or not and that makes me really sad. I hate that there are people who make fun of other people who want to flourish or make fun of other people who are flourishing because they don't think it's "cool". 

With this word, I don't just want to focus on me flourishing but also helping others flourish too. It's hard work because some people get so discouraged with trying to reach their full potential without someone trying to bring them down. I believe that by lifting others who are also lost in this world, I can flourish myself.
