As impossible it was to believe, my 2015 was never JUST about me. I was always doing things and making choices based on what other people told me or suggested I should do. I was always sucked into the guilt people gave me and never really thought about myself.

My 2015 was basically always about you, or him, or her, or them but never about me. I was taking care of other people and the "baggage" they unloaded on me and I forgot about my own "baggage".

I am not selfish (well... except when it comes to food). I give until I have nothing else and I get guilty really fast when I don't have anything else to give. I am 100% a people-pleaser. My biggest regret in 2015 was losing myself in the process of pleasing and worrying about others.

Here are 3 things that I am going to leave behind in 2015 and not bring with me in 2016:

In 2016, I want to refocus on myself. ME ME ME ME ME. I was always putting myself 2nd and I have gotten used to that feeling which was a HUGE LESSON LEARNED. I am never going to do that to myself ever again.

OBVIOUS TIP THAT I DIDN'T REALLY LISTEN TO IN 2015: If you think you're a 2nd choice in someone's life, reevaluate or talk to that person ASAP. Always make sure people meet you halfway and that you're not the only one pulling the weight.
